An opportunity is available for a contract Physical Therapist (PT) to provide specialized therapy services in a school environment near Burns, WY. You’ll work closely with students, educators, and families, focusing on tailored interventions that help children reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy best practices, especially in educational settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Capacity to design and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Ability to travel to locations as needed for student services

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessments
  • Deliver direct therapy services, document progress, and adjust goals to optimize student success
  • Collaborate with educational teams, families, and outside providers
  • Provide consultation and training for school staff regarding mobility, adaptations, and accessibility
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered care planning
