An opportunity is available for a contract Physical Therapist (PT) to provide specialized therapy services in a school environment near Burns, WY. You’ll work closely with students, educators, and families, focusing on tailored interventions that help children reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy best practices, especially in educational settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Capacity to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Ability to travel to locations as needed for student services
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessments
- Deliver direct therapy services, document progress, and adjust goals to optimize student success
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and outside providers
- Provide consultation and training for school staff regarding mobility, adaptations, and accessibility
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered care planning
