Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active state license as a Physical Therapist
  • Certification required
  • Experience working with school-aged children from elementary through high school
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a wide age range and diverse abilities
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with IEP processes preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver therapy services to support student mobility, strength, balance, and independence in school environments
  • Track student progress, maintain comprehensive records, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to recommend accommodations or classroom modifications
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for students
  • Educate and assist school personnel on therapy-related techniques as needed
