Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active state license as a Physical Therapist
- Certification required
- Experience working with school-aged children from elementary through high school
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a wide age range and diverse abilities
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP processes preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver therapy services to support student mobility, strength, balance, and independence in school environments
- Track student progress, maintain comprehensive records, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to recommend accommodations or classroom modifications
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for students
- Educate and assist school personnel on therapy-related techniques as needed
