Step into an impactful contract opportunity designed for skilled Physical Therapists seeking to serve local school populations. Two positions are available: one focused on Early Intervention (11-month assignment) and one supporting students K-12, both providing essential PT services throughout the academic year. These roles are set to begin August 10th, 2026, continuing through June 17th, 2027, in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license for the state of Maryland
  • Relevant experience working with children—either in early intervention or K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various educational professionals, families, and outside agencies
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement targeted treatment plans to address students’ mobility and physical development needs
  • Work closely with teachers and IEP teams to integrate therapies into school routines
  • Track and document progress, adjust interventions as needed, and manage all required reports and documentation
  • Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student progress
  • Serve as a resource for strategies and adaptive techniques that enhance student participation in educational activities
