Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Maryland
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school climate
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy plans for students based on IEP goals and teacher input
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities and daily routines
- Document and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state protocols
- Provide guidance and support to staff regarding adaptive equipment and mobility needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
