Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Maryland
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school climate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy plans for students based on IEP goals and teacher input
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities and daily routines
  • Document and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state protocols
  • Provide guidance and support to staff regarding adaptive equipment and mobility needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
