Deliver impactful physical therapy services to students across K-12 settings and help support student success in a dynamic school environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with passionate educators and dedicated staff while providing essential PT interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Physical Therapy license (MD PT License) required
- Experience delivering services in school-based settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with documentation requirements for schools, including IEPs and related services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable and creative in tailoring interventions for diverse learners and developmental needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services for students K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and set appropriate therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ access to educational activities
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with district and state requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in progress discussions for each student on your caseload
- Deliver therapy three days per week, ensuring quality care and continuity for all assigned students
