Physical Therapist - School Setting in Cambridge, MA

Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing direct support as a Physical Therapist for Extended School Year (ESY) programming near Cambridge, MA. In this contract role, you'll work in-person, collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve their functional and academic goals during ESY services.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting
• Knowledge of IEP implementation and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to effectively manage caseloads and adapt to a dynamic school environment
• Previous ESY or summer school experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver physical therapy services to students as part of their ESY programs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student progress
• Develop, implement, and track therapy goals in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Maintain detailed records and timely documentation for each student served
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning of student-centered care
• Provide resources and recommendations to staff and caregivers as needed
