A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school environment during the Extended School Year (ESY) session in Cambridge, MA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support student development and rehabilitation in a school setting, ensuring that physical therapy services are delivered effectively to meet educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
  • Provide consultation and support to school staff on physical therapy-related issues
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each student during the ESY period

Qualifications:

  • Valid state Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience in school or pediatric physical therapy is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a school environment

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts — servicing a K-12 school during the ESY contract period
