School-Based Physical Therapist - Cambridge, MA

Qualifications:

• Active or eligible state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in schools or pediatrics is preferred, but motivated new graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and educational staff
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement physical therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide input on student eligibility and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies that support student success in the classroom
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all direct and indirect therapy services
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and training sessions as needed to support ongoing professional development and case management
