Qualifications:
- Active or eligible state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience in schools or pediatrics is preferred, but motivated new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and educational staff
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement physical therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide input on student eligibility and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies that support student success in the classroom
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all direct and indirect therapy services
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and training sessions as needed to support ongoing professional development and case management
