School Physical Therapist | Cambridge, Massachusetts

Step into a rewarding contract position as a Physical Therapist supporting students during the Extended School Year program. This summer opportunity runs from July 6, 2025, to August 7, 2025, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule of 6 hours per day, totaling 30 hours per week. Work closely with a diverse K-12 student population and collaborate within an educational setting that values inclusive and supportive care.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience working in a school-based environment (K-12) is highly desirable
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress reporting
• Safe Care Certification is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs during the ESY program
• Assess, document, and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to help students achieve their mobility and functional goals
• Contribute to team meetings and provide recommendations for accessible learning environments
• Promote a safe and positive therapy experience for every student
