Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contracted role supporting a local school’s Extended School Year (ESY) program. Located near Cambridge, MA, this rewarding opportunity runs from July 6th through August 3rd, with a schedule of approximately three days per week. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in delivering high-quality therapy services to students, making a meaningful impact during the summer session.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a PT or PTA
- Experience providing therapy services in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Familiarity with IEPs and school documentation processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct physical therapy sessions tailored to student IEP goals during the ESY program
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with educational staff and family members
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school policies
- Adjust therapy interventions as needed to foster student independence and engagement
- Support students with mobility, access, and participation within the school environment
