Key Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Detail-oriented with solid documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual physical therapy sessions with assigned students two times a month, 30 minutes per session
- Assess students’ physical abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to align therapy with students' IEPs and academic needs
- Maintain clear and accurate records of sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Adjust interventions as needed to encourage ongoing progress and participation
