School-Based Physical Therapist - Cape Coral, Florida

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students from PreK through 12th grade. This full-time role offers the chance to work on-site in a dynamic school environment near Cape Coral, FL. You’ll rotate between multiple campuses within the district, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help students reach their physical potential and engage in school activities.

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Possession of a current Florida Physical Therapist license (through FL DOH)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant therapist
• Up-to-date fingerprint clearance; candidates with prior Florida district prints may expedite this step
• Commitment to following district safety guidelines and protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate student abilities and needs specific to physical therapy interventions
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Deliver direct therapy services in individual or group settings for students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt interventions based on student feedback and assessment data

The contract runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar and providing a consistent, structured schedule up to 37.5 hours per week. This position is strictly on-site—remote options are not available.
