School-Based Physical Therapist - Capon Bridge, West Virginia

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist serving a dynamic student population from PreK through age 21. This position covers a total of seven schools across Hampshire County, providing specialized support to approximately 30 students. The assignment begins August 13, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, with the possibility of contract renewal.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in West Virginia
• Prior experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred
• Skilled in IEP processes, goal development, and documentation
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse abilities and developmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of student motor needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individual treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services across seven schools in the district
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to facilitate student participation and success
• Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise on motor development and access needs
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
