Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapist license with school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Comfort working with students ages 3-21
  • Prior supervisory experience or willingness to oversee self-sufficient PTAs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
  • Willingness to commute between school locations (mileage reimbursement is provided)
  • Open to both seasoned travelers and those new to travel assignments

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in educational settings
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student access and success
  • Supervise and support PTAs, review documentation, and ensure best clinical practices
  • Maintain accurate reports and timely documentation per school and legal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
