Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric practice preferred

  • Effective documentation and time management capabilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and write detailed reports for eligible students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Document ongoing progress and maintain student records in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goals
  • Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as needed
