School-Based Physical Therapist - Carpenter, Wyoming

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state (or eligible for licensure)
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assess students’ motor skills and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized PT treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support inclusive education
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation, including progress notes and required reports
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student mobility and access in the school environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student progress
