Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
- Demonstrated experience or special interest in pediatric or school-based physical therapy
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to different grade levels and student needs
- Comfort working in a multidisciplinary team environment
Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering physical therapy services in-person to a caseload of seven students across K-12 grades
- Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to each student’s abilities and educational goals
- Collaborating with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to foster student success
- Documenting progress, maintaining compliance standards, and communicating updates effectively with families and colleagues
- Providing training or support to staff on mobility techniques and strategies as needed
