Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) in Tennessee
- Prior experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Organizational skills to track and document student progress
- Commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards
Key responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and interventions for students with varying needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver integrated services
- Develop and monitor student goals aligned with IEPs
- Educate staff and caregivers on therapy strategies for classroom and home use
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
