School Physical Therapist | Cheney, Washington

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current or pending state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Knowledge of therapy best practices and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet unique student needs
• Collaborative attitude to work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Complete evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for students
• Implement therapy sessions individually or in group settings
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to educators and families
• Consult with teachers and staff to support students’ mobility and accessibility needs
• Educate families and staff on strategies to promote physical development and safety
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
