Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current or pending state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Knowledge of therapy best practices and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet unique student needs
- Collaborative attitude to work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Complete evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for students
- Implement therapy sessions individually or in group settings
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to educators and families
- Consult with teachers and staff to support students’ mobility and accessibility needs
- Educate families and staff on strategies to promote physical development and safety
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
