Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in South Carolina
- Previous experience in school-based PT or pediatric therapy (preferred)
- Ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement treatment for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Willingness to work exclusively onsite—no remote or virtual opportunities
- Comfortable working across multiple school sites as assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person physical therapy services for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Assess students’ physical abilities and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support each student’s mobility and participation in school activities
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing student evaluations
- Travel to assigned school sites as needed throughout the workweek
