Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing expert physical therapy within an engaging, supportive K-12 school environment. This full-time, onsite contract position focuses on a small, specialized caseload comprised of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID), offering you the opportunity to deliver targeted, impactful care.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Physical Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania
- Proven experience working in a school-based PT role
- Comfortable delivering services in urban school environments
- Willingness to obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Ability to provide current licensure documentation upon request
- Experience with K-12 populations, specifically ASD and ID
- Must participate in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, individualized and group PT services to a diverse K-12 student population
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with special education teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Complete all necessary documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal policies
- Ensure a positive and supportive environment for students in an urban setting
