What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Vermont Physical Therapist license required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students across K-12, adapting interventions to different developmental levels
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and IEP teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload, assessing and supporting students’ gross motor needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educational staff and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Document progress and maintain records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide guidance to faculty and staff on strategies to support students’ mobility and physical access within the school environment
