Make a difference in the lives of students by providing expert physical therapy services in an educational setting. This opportunity, set near Chesterfield, MO, allows you to work closely with a collaborative team, supporting students’ physical development and educational success for the 2025-2026 school year.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Physical Therapist license required
- Previous experience in a K-12 or school-based setting preferred
- Solid grasp of developing and carrying out individualized therapy plans
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Comfort participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
What you’ll do:
- Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of 30-60 students per week, adapting to diverse needs and abilities
- Assess students, develop relevant goals, and document progress on a quarterly basis
- Collaborate with educational staff, attend IEP meetings, and provide expertise on physical needs and accommodations
- Create and adjust therapy schedules to ensure optimal service delivery
- Offer consultation and recommendations to staff on best practices to support student success
Role specifics:
- School-based contract position
- Full-time: 36 hours per week, approximately 7 hours per day
- Service dates: ASAP through May 22, 2026
