Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Wyoming (or eligibility for licensure)
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Understanding of IEPs, special education regulations, and therapy documentation
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document assessments, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate staff and families on mobility, adaptation, and equipment utilization
- Support students’ participation and access to educational activities
- Serve as a resource for promoting physical development and functional independence within the school community
