Physical Therapist - School Setting in Chicago Heights, IL

Work full-time, 35 hours per week, delivering meaningful interventions from August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Illinois PT license
• Experience in school-based physical therapy, serving students aged 3–21
• Skilled in providing on-site, in-person support
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
• Flexibility and adaptability, as caseloads and age groups may vary by assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ physical therapy needs to support educational participation
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans in line with student IEPs
• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote functional mobility and participation in school activities
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for the student’s learning environment
• Contribute to program development that embraces best practices and current research
