School-Based Physical Therapist - Chicago, IL

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure and credentials to practice as a physical therapist in Illinois
• Experience or strong interest in providing PT services in school settings
• Familiarity with working both in-person and with homebound students
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and provide individualized therapy plans

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering high-quality physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Collaborating with teachers, school nurses, and parents to ensure student progress
• Evaluating students’ needs and developing targeted therapy strategies
• Maintaining thorough records and documentation according to school guidelines
• Attending team meetings as needed to discuss student progress and adjust goals
• Traveling to student homes nearby to provide service for homebound cases
