Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure and credentials to practice as a physical therapist in Illinois
- Experience or strong interest in providing PT services in school settings
- Familiarity with working both in-person and with homebound students
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and provide individualized therapy plans
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering high-quality physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Collaborating with teachers, school nurses, and parents to ensure student progress
- Evaluating students’ needs and developing targeted therapy strategies
- Maintaining thorough records and documentation according to school guidelines
- Attending team meetings as needed to discuss student progress and adjust goals
- Traveling to student homes nearby to provide service for homebound cases
