You'll work alongside a supportive team of educators and therapists, contributing your skills to help young learners overcome physical challenges and achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapy license in Illinois
  • Previous experience working as a physical therapist in a K-12 or pediatric setting, with a strong preference for school-based roles
  • Expertise supporting students with diverse needs in an educational environment
  • Understanding of IEP processes and experience contributing to multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapy professionals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student mobility, access, and participation in school activities
  • Offer consultative support and training for classroom staff as needed
