The assignment is located in the South Holland area and is expected to be approximately 16-21 hours per week.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Adaptability and a positive attitude in dynamic school environments

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students as indicated in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student access and participation in the school setting
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and write detailed reports on student progress
  • Consult with school personnel regarding adaptations, interventions, and mobility equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
