Desired Background and Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working with children or in a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators and families
  • Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Familiarity with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and related documentation
  • Flexible, adaptable, and committed to fostering student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ motor and functional skills to develop appropriate therapy goals
  • Design and implement therapeutic interventions catered to each student’s unique needs
  • Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to support integrated care
  • Educate school personnel and families about strategies to facilitate a positive learning environment for students with physical needs
