Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid Physical Therapist licensure
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Solid communication and collaboration skills for engaging with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ motor skills and functional abilities as part of an educational team
- Set individualized therapy goals and develop treatment plans based on students' unique needs
- Provide direct PT services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with other school professionals and families to integrate therapy strategies into classroom environments
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Serve as a resource for school staff to support adaptive physical education and activity recommendations
