Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in school-based pediatric therapy, particularly with PreK students
- Familiarity with special education settings (SPED experience is a strong plus)
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to organize, document, and manage caseload efficiently
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to a primarily PreK population in accordance with IEP goals
- Evaluate and document students’ physical abilities, progress, and adaptations
- Work closely with special education teachers, assistants, and other support staff
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ therapy needs
- Share professional insights and collaborate on strategies for student success
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and educational standards
