Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience in school-based pediatric therapy, particularly with PreK students
  • Familiarity with special education settings (SPED experience is a strong plus)
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
  • Ability to organize, document, and manage caseload efficiently

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to a primarily PreK population in accordance with IEP goals
  • Evaluate and document students’ physical abilities, progress, and adaptations
  • Work closely with special education teachers, assistants, and other support staff
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and recommendations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ therapy needs
  • Share professional insights and collaborate on strategies for student success
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and educational standards
