School-Based Physical Therapist - Cicero, IL

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license
• Prior pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
• Comfort assessing and supporting elementary-age children
• Strong communication and case documentation abilities
• Collaborative approach and adaptability in a school environment
• Experience providing therapy within Individualized Education Program (IEP) frameworks is highly valued

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted, evidence-based physical therapy services to elementary students during the ESY session
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document interventions, progress, and communications in compliance with school and state requirements
• Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and other service providers to promote continuity of care and student progress
• Contribute insights to IEP teams, supporting the integration of therapy goals into classroom activities
• Adapt services and schedule to meet the evolving needs of students in a vibrant, inclusive environment
