Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license
- Prior pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
- Comfort assessing and supporting elementary-age children
- Strong communication and case documentation abilities
- Collaborative approach and adaptability in a school environment
- Experience providing therapy within Individualized Education Program (IEP) frameworks is highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted, evidence-based physical therapy services to elementary students during the ESY session
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document interventions, progress, and communications in compliance with school and state requirements
- Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and other service providers to promote continuity of care and student progress
- Contribute insights to IEP teams, supporting the integration of therapy goals into classroom activities
- Adapt services and schedule to meet the evolving needs of students in a vibrant, inclusive environment
