Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Illinois
• Prior experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for interacting with staff, faculty, and parents
• Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to diverse needs and IEP requirements
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students to develop individualized physical therapy goals and treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement effective strategies in both classroom and clinical settings
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct therapy services to students, supporting their motor development, mobility, and independence in the educational environment
• Educate staff and families about best practices to enhance student participation and safety throughout the school day
