As a school-based Physical Therapist, you will play an essential role in helping students reach their physical potential and effectively participate in school activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license
- Previous experience providing PT services in a school setting preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability and empathy working with students of varied needs and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs within an educational framework
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students, supporting educational participation and access
- Document progress and maintain accurate records compliant with school and regulatory guidelines
- Work closely with classroom staff and administration to ensure integrated student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations as necessary
