School-Based Physical Therapist - Citrus Heights, California

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience providing PT services in a school setting preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability and empathy working with students of varied needs and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs within an educational framework
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
• Deliver direct and consultative services to students, supporting educational participation and access
• Document progress and maintain accurate records compliant with school and regulatory guidelines
• Work closely with classroom staff and administration to ensure integrated student support
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations as necessary
