Physical Therapist - School Setting in Clermont, FL

Make a difference supporting students across multiple schools as a Physical Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity welcomes both full-time and part-time candidates—whether you’re seeking a consistent schedule or prefer flexible work, you’ll have the chance to partner with dedicated professionals and help empower K-12 (and some Pre-K) learners throughout their educational journey. Service delivery is fully on-site, allowing you to build hands-on relationships with staff and students.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid Florida Physical Therapy License
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred, but not required for consideration
• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and move between 2-3 schools per day (total out of 35, caseload of 94 students divided among PT/PTA team)
• Comfortable providing direct and indirect physical therapy services to students from Pre-K to grade 12
• Reliable organizational skills for tracking documentation, sessions, and student progress

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for students with diverse needs
• Document services and monitor progress in collaboration with educational staff and caregivers
• Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and support staff across campus locations
• Participate in district onboarding, maintain accurate records, and complete all time-sensitive credentialing requirements
• Coordinate with team PT and PTA to balance caseload and scheduling
