Physical Therapists seeking a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic school environment will thrive in this flexible, contract-based role beginning October and extending through late November. Multiple openings are available: one full-time position or up to three part-time professionals to collaboratively serve K-12 (with some Pre-K) students across several schools.

Work closely with a dedicated support team to provide both direct and indirect physical therapy services. You’ll be part of an itinerant team covering up to 35 school locations, typically working at two or three sites per day. The caseload, approximately 94 students, is carefully divided among you, another PT, and a PTA to ensure focused and manageable service delivery.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required.
• School-based experience is highly preferred, but all licensed candidates will be considered.
• Ability to serve diverse student populations (Pre-K through high school).
• Willingness to travel between school sites during the week.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must complete district-specific onboarding and credentialing requirements prior to start.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy evaluations and treatments as prescribed in IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student goals.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and timesheets as required by the district.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
• Manage schedule efficiently to serve multiple schools and student needs.

Flexible full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time arrangements (with shared caseload and locations) are available. Contract hours run from 7:30am to 4:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. On-site presence is required.
