Desired Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in school-based Physical Therapy or pediatric therapy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with special education teams
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, part-time schedule
• Dedication to fostering student independence and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat students with a variety of physical needs in accordance with established IEPs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress to support students’ educational access
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive environments
• Attend relevant meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and implement strategies to increase student mobility and participation in school activities
