Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings is highly preferred
- Ability to supervise a licensed PTA during virtual services
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with paperwork/electronic documentation
- Flexibility to work both onsite and through virtual platforms as required
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services onsite to K-12 students across designated schools
- Evaluate students, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress to support academic and functional success
- Supervise a licensed PTA in the virtual (VOCO) setting, ensuring high-quality care and compliance
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to promote student development
- Adapt interventions to meet each student's unique needs and coordinate with school schedules
This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours of in-person work and up to 20 hours per week allotted for virtual supervision and administrative duties. The assignment runs through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, providing a stable and impactful position for the right candidate.
