School-Based Physical Therapist - Clio, SC

Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina PT license required (state participates in PT Compact)
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Capacity to adapt services to a variety of student needs and grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person physical therapy services to K-12 students as part of an engaging educational team
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans targeting student goals
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
• Consult with educators and families to foster student participation and inclusion within the classroom setting
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations to optimize student support
• Provide ongoing education and training for school staff related to mobility, positioning, and therapy strategies
