You’ll work with a diverse school-age population, offering both preventative and rehabilitative care designed to enhance physical abilities, independence, and participation in classroom activities.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) authorized to practice in California
• Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy preferred
• Flexibility to serve students across varied age groups and developmental needs
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students’ physical and motor skill goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to facilitate optimal learning environments
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with school policies and regulations
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered goals
• Offer training and resources to staff as needed for best therapy practices
