Candidates will work with a diverse student population, addressing the physical therapy needs of various age groups throughout the academic year. A strong emphasis is placed on collaborating with educators and adapting interventions to support the academic and developmental progress of each learner.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the BACB
  • Proven school-based or pediatric therapy experience is preferred
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
  • Familiarity with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for teamwork

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive clinical and skills assessments for students
  • Conduct Functional Assessments, including FBAs and necessary screening tools
  • Develop and implement treatment recommendations aligning with ethical standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain thorough documentation
