School-Based Physical Therapist - Clovis, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students to determine functional physical skills, needs, and goals
• Design, execute, and monitor personalized therapy plans within the school environment
• Record and report progress, maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student mobility and participation
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to special education team discussions
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and continuing education in pediatric physical therapy
