School-Based Physical Therapist - Coatesville, Pennsylvania

Make an impact supporting students in grades K-8 as a dedicated professional in a part-time, contract capacity. Help provide essential compensatory services for a group of seven students, working closely with a collaborative team in a supportive school environment. The assignment is located near Coatesville, PA, serving a school community in Landenberg, with an immediate start available.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with appropriate credentials for school-based practice
• Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Commitment to supporting each student’s unique educational and therapeutic needs

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services for a small caseload of students, focusing on compensatory hours owed
• Collaborate with educators and other service providers to develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Assess students’ physical abilities and needs within the school setting
• Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
• Communicate effectively with parents, school teams, and related service professionals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning when needed

Role Details:

• Contract, part-time position
• 30 hours per week, following school hours (8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)
• Direct service to students in K-8, with a manageable caseload
