A part-time Physical Therapist position is available in College Station, TX, supporting a school environment on a contract basis. This role involves providing skilled physical therapy services primarily in a school setting, working approximately 2 to 2.5 days per week. The assignment starts as soon as possible and concludes at the end of the school year (EOSY).
Responsibilities include delivering direct physical therapy interventions tailored to the needs of 11 to 15 students. The specific caseload and student assignments will be determined upon hiring, based on the therapist’s skill set and the individual needs of the students. Collaboration with educational staff and families to support student progress and participation is a key component of this role.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant credentials to practice in Texas
- Experience providing physical therapy in school settings preferred
- Strong ability to assess and implement therapy plans for a pediatric caseload
- Knowledge of school regulations and therapeutic documentation requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff
