Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Physical Therapist license
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Understanding of pediatric therapy, including IEPs and educational documentation
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student abilities and needs
- Genuine passion for empowering children and helping them meet their physical goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted onsite PT services based on individual student IEPs
- Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans tailored to school-aged children
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate physical therapy goals into classroom routines
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and student progress
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff regarding positioning, mobility, and physical accommodations
- Communicate with parents and caregivers about student progress and recommendations
