Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Active license as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of therapy best practices within school environments
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment for diverse student populations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort working autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and district policies
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications, adaptive equipment, and accessibility
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to maximize student progress
• Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Support students in developing mobility, motor skills, and independence within the school environment
