Make an immediate impact in a vibrant school environment by supporting K-12 students as a dedicated contract Physical Therapist. This full-time role (35 hours per week) begins October 12, 2026, and continues through March 12, 2027, providing crucial coverage for two consecutive maternity leaves during the fall and winter. With a focus on creating a positive difference in the lives of children and adolescents, you’ll work closely with educational professionals to help students of all abilities thrive physically and academically.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Recent experience delivering PT services in a school setting, ideally with K-12 populations
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and goal-setting
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
  • Adaptable and able to manage a dynamic caseload across various age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services for students across multiple grade levels
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs in alignment with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and ongoing team communication
  • Provide training and resources to school staff on safe handling and activities
