This full-time role (35 hours per week) begins October 12, 2026, and continues through March 12, 2027, providing crucial coverage for two consecutive maternity leaves during the fall and winter. Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Recent experience delivering PT services in a school setting, ideally with K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and goal-setting
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Adaptable and able to manage a dynamic caseload across various age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services for students across multiple grade levels
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs in alignment with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and ongoing team communication
- Provide training and resources to school staff on safe handling and activities
