Spend three days a week, totaling 23 hours, serving a manageable caseload of 35 students in an easy-to-navigate district—travel is minimal across the three buildings, all within a compact five-square-mile area.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid licensure to practice Physical Therapy
- Experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Proven ability to work with children in PreK through 5th grade
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with special education documentation, such as progress notes and IEP updates
- Adaptable and collaborative attitude to support students, families, and educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to students, tailored to support their unique needs
- Complete progress reports, document therapy sessions, and maintain accurate student records
- Update IEP goals and contribute to evaluation team reports as necessary
- Serve as an active participant in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
