Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- California Physical Therapy license in good standing
- Experience providing PT services in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Collaborative and flexible attitude working with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ physical therapy needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy sessions to students within the school environment
- Maintain timely and accurate records, including progress notes and IEP documentation
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support optimal outcomes for students
- Adapt therapy activities to fit the school setting and student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development, as needed
