This position, located near Concord, CA, offers you the chance to work with students across various age groups for the 2026-2027 school year, making a difference in their educational journeys. As a valued team member, you’ll deliver direct PT services on a part-time schedule—just 3-4 days per week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure and credentials as a Physical Therapist
  • Prior experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and the special education process
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ physical abilities and develop appropriate therapy plans
  • Deliver individualized and group sessions to address motor, mobility, and functional skills needed for school participation
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to ensure effective service delivery
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student supports and accommodations
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture that supports each child’s growth and independence
