Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Georgia Physical Therapy license required
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of therapeutic techniques specific to school-based and pediatric needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to manage a broad caseload spanning PreK through high school
- Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive PT services to students, following their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate therapy within school settings
- Provide consultation and education to staff and caregivers on mobility, posture, and accessibility
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary for optimal outcomes
