School-Based Physical Therapist - Cordova, Tennessee

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to craft and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Dedication to ongoing professional growth and best practices in pediatric therapy

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct services to students and consultative support to staff and families
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and school-based team meetings
• Adapt interventions to maximize student engagement and ensure least restrictive environment
• Serve as a resource to school personnel and families for adaptive equipment and mobility needs
