School-Based Physical Therapist - Cordova, TN

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Physical Therapist (PT) licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and relevant documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple students and priorities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for students as assigned
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Monitor and document progress, updating goals and interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide clear, constructive input
• Educate school personnel and families on therapy strategies and equipment use
• Adapt therapy techniques as needed to ensure student access and success within the educational setting
