Key Qualifications/Experience:

  • Current license to practice Physical Therapy
  • Previous experience within school settings or pediatric populations preferred
  • Familiarity with supporting students with severe and complex needs
  • Willingness to participate in safety care training (fully provided)
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Organized, compassionate, and adaptable to varied student requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions, tailored to each student’s unique abilities and goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, parents, and a highly supportive multidisciplinary team
  • Prepare and implement therapy plans, maintain effective documentation, and monitor student progress
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and student progress reviews
  • Ensure a safe and positive environment that encourages student development and participation
  • Adhere to all school policies and best practices in safety, care, and therapeutic approaches
