School-Based Physical Therapist - Crowley, TX

Experience a rewarding opportunity to provide physical therapy services in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, contract-based position runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and is an onsite assignment supporting a diverse student population in the Fort Worth area. You'll play a vital role in helping students across grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade, by evaluating and implementing individualized therapy plans that foster growth, mobility, and participation in educational activities.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas (ECPTOTE certification required)
• Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 populations, is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of the educational model and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexible, organized, and able to adapt to shifting caseload needs (serving approximately 35–50 students)
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, develop therapy plans, and deliver direct interventions for students with a variety of physical needs
• Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and staff to support students’ access to educational opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Educate school personnel and families regarding best practices for fostering student mobility and safe physical activity
• Adjust therapy delivery and frequency based on changing needs and student progress
